Custom Brand Design and Website for a Family-Run Farm

Client Feature

Nestled in Wellington, Florida, Barr Farms is a beautiful lifestyle farm that blends coastal charm with rustic countryside living. We partnered with them to create a custom brand design and website experience that reflects their values. Rooted in a deep connection to the land, Barr Farms embraces slow living, ethical choices, and intentional elegance. What began as a heartfelt rescue mission and beloved family home has since grown into a meaningful lifestyle brand—anchored in sustainability, authenticity, and simplicity. Despite the richness of their story and the heart behind their mission, their previous online presence didn’t fully capture who they are. That’s where we came in.

Inspired by their guiding mottos, we create a brand identity that reflects their values. Every element, from the visual to the tone of voice, was thoughtfully crafted to tell their story with warmth and authenticity. The new website brings that vision to life with a journal and a curated shop that invites visitors to bring a piece of Barr Farms into their own homes. From cookbooks and mugs to farm-inspired goods, each item captures the quiet spirit of their land and the lifestyle they’ve lovingly built.

Brand Symbolism: Meaning Behind the Custom Brand Design

The Barr Farms brand identity is rich in symbolism and crafted to reflect the farm’s rustic charm and coastal luxury. Our goal was to translate this distinct personality into a visual language that feels authentic, grounded, and full of character. Here are some of the key inspirations that guided the creative direction:

  • Carol the Cow – one of the farm’s beloved animals, inspired the logo suite. Her gentle, nurturing presence reflects the brand’s grounded and approachable spirit. As an iconic figure, she anchors the visual identity in authenticity and warmth.
  • Coastal and Cowgirl Influences – The brand blends the spirit of coastal Florida with the rugged elegance of country life. Palm trees, sea breezes, and soft textures blend with cowboy boots, barn doors, and the rhythms of farm living. Together, they create a visual language that balances lifestyle with authenticity.

These influences guided the creation of a unified visual identity, including icons that reflect both farm life and coastal living. From palm trees and shells to chickens and boots, each icon tells a piece of the Barr Farms story. Also, The custom palette mirrors the sunlit mornings, rich soil, and the welcoming feel that surrounds life on the farm.

A Word from the Farm

They were thrilled with the results. Here’s what they said:

“The logos are timeless yet fresh, and I love the nods to nature throughout the site. The earthly, calming color palette makes browsing feel like a walk through the farm. The layout is easy to navigate, and the integration of storytelling, animal rescue (soon), and our shop feels seamless. I’ve already received compliments and one inquiry within a day from launching!”

The Result: A Custom Brand Design Rooted in Story and Spirit
