Somos Pilates is a joyful, inclusive studio rooted in the Albuquerque community. As an independent boutique studio, they wanted to stand out from larger franchises and showcase what makes them truly unique. To bring that vision to life, we began with in-depth competitive research to uncover their point of difference, then explored fresh directions for their for their Pilates Studio Branding and website.
From there, we created an on-brand site, collaterals, social media templates, and a welcoming email sequence to keep their community inspired and connected. Crafting a Brand That Stands Out
The Somos Pilates identity reflects the studio’s spirit: warm, welcoming, and deeply rooted in its Albuquerque community. Every choice was made to convey inclusivity, joy in movement, and a grounded sense of place, a good foundations of thoughtful Pilates Studio Branding.
- Logo & Typography – Rounded forms give the logo softness and approachability, while the modern, elegant typeface conveys expertise without feeling rigid. The sun icon adds light, energy, and optimism, nodding to Albuquerque’s bright skies and Meredith’s “petit soleil.”
- Color Palette – Deep blues, terracotta, clay, and warm neutrals are inspired by the New Mexico landscape. The tones feel sun-soaked yet calm, inviting warmth and trust while balancing vibrancy with grounded professionalism.
- Illustrations – Hand-drawn depictions of real Somos students capture authentic movement and celebrate diverse bodies, ages, and abilities, reinforcing the brand’s inclusive spirit.
- Pattern – Organic textures inspired by stone, sand, and earth appear throughout layouts, adding a natural, grounded feel.
Bringing Their Spirit to the Web
The identity comes to life in a custom Squarespace website designed to feel like stepping into the studio. Reflecting their Pilates Studio Branding, the design incorporates curves, illustrations, and layered sun details create a sense of flow, while photography from their brand shoot adds warmth and authenticity. Integrated booking and app connections make the experience seamless. The result is a site that feels both inviting and energizing, an online reflection of the vibrant Somos community.
